The "What is Science" course covers what science is and what science is not. With phrases such as "Follow the Science" and "In Science We Trust" circulating so rabidly in our post covid era, it is important to understand that science is simply a tool for study. Science has no authority. Science makes no decisions. Science cannot lead in any direction. Science is only as good as the person (scientist) using the scientific method. Science is fallible. Science is not immune to the biases of humans. Used properly, science is a terrific tool to aid in understanding. Used improperly, science can be a terrible tool of misconception.
